On April 29th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-5), the horse took an early lead through two sections, finishing strongly. On April 8th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-2-3), it settled in a good position but could only manage third place. On March 25th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-6), the horse attempted an early break and weakened on the straight. Two months ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin mile, having a slow start and settling towards the back with a steady pace but lacking a finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. After a short break, it completed three barrier trials showing slight improvement. Another trial run over a straight course, this time with a 5lb weight reduction, faces unfavorable competition within its group and drew a poor barrier which is disadvantageous despite late gate work.
