On April 11th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 2-2-2), he tracked closely in second, maintaining pace under strong urging. March 14th (Happy Valley barrier trial 1200m: 4-3-9) saw him lose momentum mid-race and finish at the rear. Early March, this horse delivered a decent performance over a Happy Valley sprint, jumping slowly and settling back in the field with an even pace but showing a late run. After a short break, three barrier trials were undertaken without reaching desired progress. Now switching to a straight course race for its debut distance, he runs without any additional weight, but the distance is unfavorable and drew a poor barrier. Despite a good trainer-jockey relationship, this outing is considered a trial run only.
