BLAZING WUKONG

On May 8th, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 5-5-3), the horse moved forward within the group with good progress. On April 25th, in a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 7-6-6), it settled mid-pack comfortably. On April 11th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 4-4-7), it tracked the pace maturely and improved throughout the trial. On March 28th, in an 800m turf trial at Conghua (sections: 6-5-2), it travelled smoothly along the rail and quickened automatically. On March 7th, during an 800m turf trial at Conghua (sections: 8-6-2) the jump out was slow but showed a strong finishing kick in the latter part of the trial. This is its debut race as a new horse; it began training after arriving in Hong Kong in early January. It has completed five trials this season with moderate results, displaying a high action and lacking significant acceleration. It appears more suited to 1400m to one mile distances, and this race should be considered a trial run only.
