On May 8th, the dirt trial over 1200m showed promising signs (sections: 1-1-3), slightly leaning outwards on the turn and lacking flexibility at the 200m mark, but pushed to third by the jockey. Four weeks ago, in a 1200m dirt race, performance was poor with a slow start and settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace without a strong finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. One barrier trial has been completed showing some improvement. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m now, it's his debut at this distance and he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction. The distance isn’t ideal for the horse but an advantageous inside draw and ability to settle in a good position tracking the leaders give him potential influence on the race outcome.
