On April 15th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-1), the horse settled comfortably tracking the leaders, responding well to light urging in the final section. On March 28th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 5-5-1), a slightly slow start was followed by a strong finishing kick when clear. Another turf trial on March 28th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 4-2-4) saw the horse pushed and urged to maintain pace in the final section. On February 10th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 4-2-2), it was forced to push forward with strong riding, securing a clear second place. A trial on January 20th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 5-7-9) required consistent urging but produced an average response. On January 3rd (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 7-9-10), a late push with several whips yielded a poor reaction. A December 13th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 2-4-6) saw a slow start and weakening pace towards the finish. On November 18th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 5-6-7), an awkward jump led to gradual weakening from the 300m mark. This is the horse’s debut as a new winner, having commenced training in Hong Kong in mid-August of last year. Eight trials have been undertaken this season with incremental improvement noted. The horse is small in stature and has a low stride length but shows willingness to chase. A 1200m distance is likely to suit. While not yet fully mature, the horse is showing good form in morning trackwork and warrants attention for its debut race.
