On May 29th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-2-2), the horse broke well from a mid-barrier position and settled comfortably in second. On May 6th (dirt trial 1050m: 3-4-5), it began at a moderate pace and finished steadily on the straight. April 17th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 3-2-2) saw a relaxed run with an easy demeanor. April 7th (Conghua turf trial 800m: 3-2-2) marked its return after a period off, showing gradual improvement. February 2nd (dirt trial 1050m: 2-2-2), it travelled in third on the rail comfortably. December 6th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 3-1-1) witnessed a strong challenge from the halfway point leading to victory under urging. November 15th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 1-1-2), it led solo and weakened slightly in the final stages. Prior to July, its dirt mile run was disappointing, tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a finishing kick and finished fourth, beaten by one and a half lengths. After a break, the horse has completed seven barrier trials showing some improvement. Another trial over Happy Valley’s 1200m is scheduled, this time carrying fourteen extra pounds, likely to challenge for the lead. The barrier draw is favourable and despite being slower than other horses in sectional times, as long as it jumps cleanly, a forward run is anticipated.
