On June 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-3-4), the early pace was moderate, with a soft finish down the straight. Five weeks ago in a Happy Valley 1200m race, this horse performed well, jumping slowly but finishing strongly after settling towards the rear. A recent barrier trial showed satisfactory results. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin followed, and this time benefits from a four-pound weight reduction. The group timing wasn't strong, requiring a hold-up tactic; however, the finishing kick was weaker than rivals. While the form isn’t ideal, surprisingly AI predicts a potential chance – suggesting it could be a longshot worth considering.
