He maintained a steady pace and finished second after a strong late run, beaten by half a length. This time he carries only a 3lb penalty, with comparable times in the group, and draws an inside barrier. The trainer and jockey have a good rapport; however, despite needing to settle back again, his finishing kick isn't as strong as his rivals, making this a less favorable situation overall.
