On June 27th, this horse completed a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, running along the rail with a steady pace. Seven weeks ago, in a Sha Tin mile and a half race, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear, attempting an effort mid-race but fading significantly, resulting in a heavy defeat. One barrier trial has been completed without showing significant improvement. Another turf trial over 1400m followed, this time with a two-pound weight reduction. The group timing was unremarkable and drawing an outside barrier presents a disadvantage. Even considering previous results at this distance, prospects appear limited.
