Two weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was satisfactory. The jump out was slow, settling towards the rear, showing a mid-race effort but failing to maintain it to the finish line. This race requires carrying one pound more weight. Despite having consistent results at this distance and drawing a favorable barrier, there’s a jockey change with Harry Bentley taking the reins – he has some understanding of the horse's capabilities. The trainer and jockey have a reasonable rapport, preparation work seems complete, but the times from its group are not impressive. Expecting a hold-up tactic, however, the finishing kick isn't as strong as its rivals, relying on staying power.
