Four weeks ago, it ran respectably over Sha Tin's turf mile, slow to jump but finishing strongly after settling towards the rear, beaten three lengths for seventh place. A subsequent barrier trial yielded an unremarkable performance. Another turf trial over 1400m is planned; this time with no weight penalty, and a comparable time to its group. It drew an inside barrier and is expected to settle back in the field, relying on a strong finishing kick. Based on current form compared to rivals, it appears to be among the leading contenders.
