AUTUMN VIBES

On September 16th, in a turf trial over 1000m (sections recorded as 6-3-1), the horse showed a slight head tilt mid-race but responded well to urging and won. This is his debut run this season. He has had one barrier trial showing improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, this time with a three-pound weight reduction. The group timing was reasonable, requiring a hold-up strategy; he displayed good finishing kick, and the form looks promising. Zac Purton takes the ride, having some prior knowledge of the horse’s capabilities. Trainer and jockey have mutual confidence, and the horse received gate work before this race indicating strong intent.
