HANDSOME BOMB

On September 16th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse travel at a moderate pace, showing an average response. On September 2nd, during a dirt trial over 1200m, it dropped back on the straight and finished tailed off. This is the horse’s debut this season. Two barrier trials have been undertaken, but it hasn't kept pace with the required progress. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin has been completed; now racing with a one-pound weight reduction, there's potential for an early lead. The draw is favorable, and trainer/jockey appear aligned in their approach. The horse has shown improvement and despite slower times from the same group, securing an outside barrier, a clean break should allow it to push forward for the lead.
