On September 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-7), the horse tracked from behind with little to commend. On September 11th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-9) he was urged at the 300m mark, showing inconsistent pace. On August 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-9-8), despite strong urging, there was no improvement in performance. This is his debut run as a new winner, having commenced training for approximately one month after arriving in Hong Kong. He has trialled three times this season without impressive showings; high leg action and steady pace were noted but lacking acceleration. More suited to a mile distance, he's making his first start this race with insufficient preparation, therefore it’s recommended to observe his performance first.
