On September 18th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1050m at Conghua (6-5-5), showing little improvement when urged along in the straight. This is his seasonal debut. He has had one barrier trial with unremarkable results. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin was undertaken, and this time he will carry two pounds less weight, drawing an inside barrier. The plan is to settle him towards the rear of the field, relying on a strong finishing kick; his sectionals relative to other horses in the trials were competitive despite having three unsuccessful runs over this distance previously.
