Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a finishing surge. He finished seventh, beaten three and a half lengths. Another trial over Sha Tin’s 1200m saw a one-pound weight reduction, however, he has failed to win in three attempts at this distance. This time around, a hold-up tactic is planned, though his finishing kick isn't strong enough to compete with rivals. While the overall timing of the group wasn’t exceptional, he remains worth considering.
