Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, tracking the leaders but failing to sustain the effort at the finish. In a subsequent trial over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf course, he has a one-pound weight reduction for this race. However, he remains winless in four attempts at this distance and drew an outside barrier, necessitating a backmarker strategy. His finishing kick was insufficient against his rivals, presenting unfavorable conditions; even with comparable sectionals to the field, his chances appear slim.
