Two weeks ago, this horse ran below expectations over a Sha Tin 1400m race, taking the lead early but failing to maintain it in the final stages. He finished eighth, beaten three lengths. Another turf trial over 1200m is scheduled, with a one-pound weight reduction this time, but an unfavourable outside barrier draw. However, his section times were comparable to other horses in the same group, suggesting he can secure a good position tracking the leaders and potentially deliver a surprise performance.
