REWARDING TWINKLE

On September 11th, (dirt trial 1200m: 4-3-1) the horse took the lead with good balance in the final 300m to win. This is his seasonal debut following one barrier trial showing improvement. A subsequent turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin and a one-pound weight reduction this time, despite drawing an inside barrier, suggests a hold-up tactics. The horse displayed a strong finishing kick and appears favorably positioned compared to rivals. The jockey has limited experience with the horse, but morning track work indicates consistency, though group times were unremarkable. Trainer and jockey don't seem to have a good rapport; a conservative approach is recommended.
