INVINCIBLE IBIS

On September 23rd, (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-4) the horse showed a pleasing move from an inside barrier. Three weeks ago, he ran well over a Sha Tin mile, jumping slowly but finishing with a strong late run in the final two sections to take third place, beaten by two lengths – a respectable performance. A recent trial was satisfactory. Now stepping up to 1400m on turf for his debut, he won’t carry extra weight this time and the distance increase is expected to suit. He's likely to settle back in the field and utilize a finishing kick which makes him one of the strongest in the group; benefiting from a good barrier draw and appearing to have a strong trainer-jockey combination, capable of bouncing back from previous setbacks.
