On 9/10, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in running positions of 6-9-5, maintaining a moderate pace throughout. Six weeks ago, in a similar race over the same distance, the performance was poor with a slow start and settling towards the rear. Although showing some effort mid-race, it lacked stamina. A recent barrier trial indicated it’s behind in progress. This time benefiting from a 2lb weight reduction, but drawing an unfavorable outside barrier against competitive opposition, even with previous form over this distance, prospects appear limited.
