RUN RUN SMART

Three weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1200m race, jumping slowly and settling back in the field before making a strong late run with fast sections. On its debut over a Sha Tin 1400m, it benefits from a three-pound weight reduction this time but the distance is not ideal. The plan is to settle back again in this race, however, the finishing kick was weaker than rivals and the situation isn’t favorable despite an increased final work effort; further observation is recommended after one more run.
