He finished second, beaten by one and a half lengths, displaying a good level of ability. In a subsequent trial over a Sha Tin 1400m, he will carry two pounds less this time with favorable timings and a beneficial barrier draw. Considering his relative strength compared to other horses in the group and a good trainer-jockey combination, despite drawing an outside barrier, the plan is to settle back in the field. However, his finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete against rivals, but he is expected to put up a fight.
