Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly in a 1200m dirt race, with a slow start and settling towards the back. Maintaining an even pace throughout, it lacked any noticeable acceleration and finished well-beaten. On its debut on Sha Tin turf over 1400m, it benefits from a six-pound weight reduction this time but is unlikely to suit the distance. Despite an advantageous inside draw and pre-race track work, the conditions are unfavorable and considered merely a trial run.
