Following two barrier trials, the horse showed some improvement. On 6/10 (dirt trial 1200m: 10-7-3), he was urged throughout and finished third after making ground from an inside draw. On 23/9 (dirt trial 1200m: 10-10-10), he was ridden early and trailed at the rear. This is his seasonal debut. He has yet to win in five starts over this distance, with limited form shown within the group. Despite drawing an advantageous inside barrier, the overall shape of the race doesn't appear favorable, but a victory remains possible. He benefits from a two-pound weight reduction this time.
