Three weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance over Sha Tin 1400m, jumping slowly and settling back in the field before making good ground in the final two sections. He finished well, beaten three lengths, demonstrating a high level of ability. Stepping up in class now, switching to Sha Tin 1600m for his debut at this distance, he benefits from a 19lb weight reduction and has drawn an outside barrier. His finishing kick was lacking last time and the trainer-jockey combination wasn’t ideal, however, the longer trip is expected to suit. A jockey change to Angus Chung offers some understanding of the horse's capabilities; a clean break and intent to lead are key to a forward showing.
