On October 10th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections recorded as 10-10-9), the horse lost ground while rounding the bend and showed moderate breathing. On September 18th, in a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections 6-5-7), it settled comfortably in mid-pack without losing any significant ground. Returning from a spell, this will be its seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have been undertaken but the horse hasn’t shown sufficient progress yet. Stepping up in class and returning to Sha Tin over 1600m, it benefits from an 18lb weight reduction. Based on relative times in the trial, a hold-up tactic is expected; however, its finishing speed appears inferior to rivals and the overall situation looks unfavorable. Despite some previous form over this distance and drawing an inside barrier, a winning performance seems unlikely.
