On 30/9, he ran another dirt trial over 1200m, moving up from an inside barrier and displaying good form (6-6-3). A further turf trial was completed on 19/9 over 1200m, running sections of 7-7-6 after shifting out at the 300m mark. Returning from a spell, this is his seasonal debut. He's had three trials showing some improvement. Dropping in class for this race, he benefits from a four-pound weight reduction.
