Moving up in class, he benefits from an 18-pound weight reduction for this race. He has previously won three times over this distance and recorded good sectionals during the trials. A hold-up tactic is expected, with a strong finishing kick anticipated within the group. The trainer and jockey have a solid rapport. Despite drawing an outside barrier which presents a disadvantageous position, he shouldn't be discounted.
