Three weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1200m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It made a good move in the middle stages and maintained its momentum. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m last start, it benefits from a five-pound weight reduction. The overall time of the group was not impressive, however, it drew a poor barrier which is disadvantageous. Despite having some previous form at this distance, a hold-up tactic will be required, with its finishing kick being the strongest in the field. It has been undergoing gate work and appears to be improving physically, but opportunities may be limited.
