RUN RUN TIMING

On October 10th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections: 4-3-1), the horse showed an attractive stride when making his move down the straight. On September 26th, in another Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections: 1-2-3), he took an early lead from a mid-barrier position and maintained pace under pressure. Returning after a long break, this is his seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. This run marks his first start after transferring stables and dropping in class; another Happy Valley 1200m race is planned. He will carry an additional 15 pounds this time. Despite good times from rivals in the same group, drawing a favorable barrier, and with Matthew Poon taking the ride – who has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities - a hold-up tactic seems likely. However, his finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete against opponents. The trainer-jockey combination is not ideal, suggesting a trailing position is most probable.
