A month ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but faded significantly, finishing well-beaten. In a subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m, he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction this time, however the timing of the trial relative to other horses is unfavourable. Despite that, a decent barrier draw offers some hope, making him an outsider worth considering.
