Three weeks ago, this horse ran a fair race over Sha Tin’s 1200m, with a slow start and settling towards the rear. He made progress in the middle stages but ultimately couldn't close the gap, finishing three and a half lengths behind the winner. Now dropping back to Happy Valley over 1200m for its next run, it will carry an additional fifteen pounds this time despite having five wins from twenty-one starts at this distance with the fastest time recorded. Drawing a good barrier, it appears stronger than most of the competition. Vincent Ho takes the ride, gaining some understanding of the horse’s capabilities. Late work indicates preparation for a strong showing, but needing to settle towards the rear is a disadvantage due to its weaker finishing kick compared to rivals. The trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal; hoping for a solid performance.
