Three weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, performance was mediocre. The horse led early but faded towards the finish, finishing third, beaten by only one length. This time with a seven-pound weight reduction, the draw isn't ideal. Despite two previous wins at this distance and comparable times amongst rivals, drawing a good barrier offers an opportunity to lead. Trainer and jockey have a reasonable understanding of each other, and there doesn’t appear to be any specific strategy planned.
