Six weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong late run. He was beaten three lengths. In a recent dirt trial (1200m on 19/12), he trailed behind. Now switching to Sha Tin over 1600m for his first attempt at this distance, the horse will carry two pounds less weight but faces an unfavorable distance. A rearward position is expected in this race; however, finishing speed may not be sufficient to compete effectively and despite drawing an inside barrier, it’s recommended to observe one more run before assessing its chances.
