On December 29th, (dirt trial 1200m: 8-6-6) moved out gradually after 300 meters and was urged to maintain a chasing position. Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1800m turf, the performance was lackluster; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear but showed significant fatigue during the race resulting in a disappointing finish. One trial run showed no clear improvement. Another dirt trial over 1600m this time with a two-pound weight reduction offers little advantage despite a comparable time within the group and an inside barrier draw, suggesting limited prospects for a strategic approach.
