VERMILION TEMPEST

Three weeks ago, this horse ran a decent race over a Happy Valley mile, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear but showing a strong late run. Switching to Sha Tin over 1600m this time, it’s their debut at this distance and they benefit from a two-pound weight reduction. The distance isn't ideal, resulting in an unfavorable situation, however, the horse is known for its finishing kick which makes it a contender not to be underestimated.
