Three weeks ago, over a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was underwhelming with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse made a mid-race effort but faded in the final stages. Another trial over 1200m on turf showed similar results. This time carrying a two-pound weight reduction, it has failed to win in three attempts at this distance. While needing to settle back again, its finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals and the overall form isn’t ideal, the horse's sectional times are comparable to those of its competition, offering some hope for improvement.
