FULL OF LAUGHTER

Ten days ago (10/1), this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Happy Valley, running evenly but lacking smoothness on the straight. Five weeks ago in a straight race, it performed poorly with a slow start and settled towards the rear. Maintaining a steady pace throughout, it showed no finishing burst and finished sixth, beaten three and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial revealed it is still behind in terms of progress. Making its debut on Sha Tin turf over 1200m this time with no additional weight, an increase in distance is expected to suit. The jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, and trainer-jockey relationship is satisfactory. Despite drawing an outside barrier, prospects are not unfavorable.
