On March 13th (dirt trial 1200m: 6-6-6), the horse was hampered on the straight and eased back. On December 29th (dirt trial 1050m: 6-7-6), he was held back on the straight, a test of his barrier manners. In April, over this same distance, the performance was poor; tracking the leaders early before attempting to make a move in the middle sections but fading badly. After a long break, two trials have been undertaken without showing significant improvement. This time with a one-pound weight reduction, the group's timing isn’t bad and drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactics is planned, possessing the strongest finishing kick within the field, and appears in good form.
