Two months ago, this horse ran an unremarkable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but couldn’t close the gap. Now switching stables and stepping back to Sha Tin over 1200m, he benefits from a three-pound weight reduction. His trial times are comparable to stablemates, suggesting he has the speed to lead. The barrier draw is favorable, with Karis Teetan taking the ride; the jockey has some familiarity with the horse's capabilities and pre-race warm up looks good. A clean break should see him attempt an early lead.
