Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly in a 1200m dirt race, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but failing to show any acceleration and finishing badly. On its debut on Sha Tin turf over 1400m, it will carry two pounds less weight this time but is stepping up in distance which may not suit. It has drawn an unfavorable outside barrier and lacked a strong finishing kick. The trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal. Even if able to settle in a good position tracking the leaders, with Richard Kingscote taking the ride – who has limited experience with this horse – it’s best to see how it performs in its next outing.
