Two weeks ago, this horse ran a moderate race over a Sha Tin 1200m. He was slow to jump and settled towards the rear, making a mid-race effort but failing to close the gap. Now stepping up to 1400m on the Sha Tin turf for the first time, he receives a two-pound weight reduction. The distance increase is not ideal, resulting in a less favorable situation, and there’s limited synergy between horse and jockey. Despite drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic seems likely; however, his finishing kick is strong within the field, and the rider understands the horse's temperament—observing this race first is advised.
