On March 13th, this horse recorded sections of 7-5-4 in a dirt trial over 1200m. He was held back early and moved out after 200m, finishing fourth under light riding. Four weeks ago, in a similar distance trial, the performance was below expectations; a slow jump resulted in settling towards the rear, but showed good acceleration through the middle sections with a strong pull. The latest barrier trial wasn't particularly impressive. He will carry no additional weight this time, and although his group timing was reasonable, he is likely to be held up in the run. However, his finishing kick isn’t expected to match rivals, making his prospects less favorable, hoping only for a place."
