Three weeks ago, this horse trialed over 1200m on the Conghua turf track (sections: 4-4-5), travelling along the outside rail and showing improved focus throughout. Four weeks ago in a similar trial, he was slow to jump but maintained a steady pace with no noticeable strong sections. One barrier trial was completed, but it wasn't fully extended. This time, he has a one-pound weight reduction but drew an unfavorable outside barrier. Despite relatively comparable times within the group, he is not considered a leading contender in this race.
