Three weeks ago, this horse displayed a good impression in a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua, tracking from an inside barrier. Four weeks ago in the same distance, he ran very well, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before finishing strongly with fast sections to take second place, beaten by only one and a half lengths - a high-level performance. A recent trial showed he wasn’t able to keep up with the pace. This time no additional weight is required, and while recording the fastest time amongst his group, compared to other contenders, he possesses a higher overall level of ability. The trainer and jockey have a reasonable rapport; however, drawing an outside barrier necessitates settling towards the back, but finishing kick may not be sufficient against rivals, making the situation less favorable, and a slow start is anticipated.
