Three weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance on the dirt over 1200m, jumping slowly but settling back in the field before accelerating with fast sectionals to finish second. He was beaten two lengths and showed high potential. Now stepping up in class and returning to Sha Tin turf over 1200m, he benefits from a 15-pound weight reduction. Having previously recorded two wins at this distance, and with good times compared to the competition, the plan is to settle back again relying on a strong finishing kick which is his strength within the field. Alexis Badel takes the ride, a jockey known for his understanding of this horse, and the trainer maintains confidence in him.
