Nine days ago (9/1), this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m finishing sections in 4-5-1, moving wide on the turn and accelerating to overtake rivals. Five weeks prior, over the same distance, performance was below expectations with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. Showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten two and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial demonstrated improvement. This race requires an additional three pounds in weight, having secured two wins at this distance previously. Comparable times within the group are reasonable, drawing an inside barrier. Expecting a hold-up strategy, possessing a strong finishing kick compared to others in the same group; shape looks good, with positive synergy between horse, jockey and trainer, well prepared for competition, saving its best effort.
