This time he will carry an additional five pounds, but benefits from good timing within the field allowing him to settle in a good position tracking the leaders; drawing an advantageous inside barrier further enhances his chances. His finishing kick is among the strongest in the group and with relative ability, he appears to be the leading contender this race. The jockey has been changed to Zac Purton, and horse, rider and trainer appear to have a strong rapport, suggesting a good chance of taking the lead.
