Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run and was only beaten by one and a half lengths, finishing fifth. This time it benefits from a five-pound weight reduction, having previously won twice at this distance. The competition is relatively even, drawing an inside barrier, and the plan is to settle back in the field relying on a strong finishing kick – which is its strongest point. The horse’s shape looks good, with the jockey aware of the horse's weaknesses; should not be underestimated.
